Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee works on substation projects across Scotland. This role is well-suited to professionals with a strong background in transmission and distribution who enjoy managing site activities and ensuring project success.
Salary
£450–£550 per day CIS
Location and Working Pattern
Various locations across Scotland with site-based work required.
Client Overview
Our client is a leading provider in the Transmissionand Distribution sector, delivering projects that are key to maintaining and improving network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations on substation projects
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to maintain productivity
Plan and monitor project schedules and milestones
Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting
Liaise with project teams to resolve technical or operational issues
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are metMust-have Requirements
Valid SPEN authorisations for substation work
SMSTS certification
Proven experience managing substation projects
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders professionallyNice-to-have Skills
Experience with National Grid or DNO projects
First Aid qualification
