Customer Service Representative - 12 Month FTC

Are you an experienced Customer Service or Sales Administration professional looking for your next opportunity?
We're recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join an established manufacturing business in Wellingborough on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a varied role combining customer service, order processing, data analysis and sales administration, with plenty of interaction across both customers and internal teams.
The role will involve:
Managing customer orders, schedules and requirements.
Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Identifying and resolving supply or delivery issues.
Producing sales, KPI and forecasting reports.
Using Excel to analyse data, create reports and manage spreadsheets.
Coordinating transport, customer packaging and despatch documentation.
Supporting continuous improvement, new product introduction and engineering change projects.
We're looking for someone with:
Previous experience in Customer Service, Sales Administration, Order Processing or a similar role.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and taking ownership.
Experience with an MRP/ERP system would be advantageous.
Experience within manufacturing or automotive, or knowledge of Oracle/MRP systems and German language skills, would be beneficial but isn't essential - training can be provided for the right person.

£28,000-£30,000 salary
12-month FTC
25 days holiday + bank holidays
3 additional days reserved for Christmas shutdown
Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm
Friday 8:00am-1:30pm
