Long Term Futures are seeking a caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in the Erdington area of Birmingham.

You'll be supporting KS1 pupils with additional needs, including ASD and communication difficulties, providing a mixture of 1:1, small-group and classroom support. This is a long-term role ideal for someone looking for stability and the opportunity to become a valued part of a school team throughout the academic year.

In this role, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support
Help pupils access lessons and classroom activities
Support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Encourage independence and confidence
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Maintain consistent routines throughout the school dayYou'll need:

A Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent in a relevant subject.
Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEN
ASD, communication or behaviour-support experience is desirable
Confidence supporting pupils both 1:1 and in classWhy Work with Long Term Futures?
