Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Wellingborough
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality classroom support, assist with interventions, and help create a positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils in the classroom across a range of subjects and year groups.
Delivering small group interventions to support learning and progress.
Providing one-to-one support for pupils when required.
Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping them access the curriculum.
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil engagement.
Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting.
Experience supporting children or young people within a school environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
