Section Engineer (SC Cleared) | Marine Civils | Contract Role | Tier 1 Contractor

A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Section Engineer with active SC Clearance and a strong background in Marine Civils to join a major infrastructure programme on a long-term contract basis. The role will support the delivery of complex marine and waterfront engineering works across a high-profile project environment.

The Role

Manage engineering activities across a designated section of works.

Oversee setting out, surveying and engineering controls.

Ensure quality assurance, inspections and ITP compliance.

Coordinate subcontractors and site teams.

Support programme delivery, productivity and technical problem-solving.

Maintain engineering records, permits and site documentation.

Requirements

Current SC Clearance (essential).

Previous experience as a Section Engineer, Senior Section Engineer, Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer.

Strong Marine Civils background including ports, harbours, quays, jetties, dockside developments, coastal defence or offshore infrastructure.

Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor, major JV or large infrastructure project.

Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
