A well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in West Ealing is seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their team from October 2026 for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for the role to extend beyond July 2027.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Teach within KS1 from October 2026
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the National Curriculum
Support pupils' progress in reading, writing, mathematics, and the wider curriculum
Deliver effective phonics teaching and support early reading development
Use assessment to identify next steps and adapt teaching accordingly
Work closely with colleagues across the phase
Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff

Requirements

The school is looking for a teacher who:

Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within KS1
Has a secure understanding of phonics and early reading
Has strong classroom management skills
Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Works effectively as part of a team
Is committed to supporting every pupil to make progressApplications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and strong ECTs with relevant KS1 experience.

Inner London M1-UPS3
Salary paid in line with experience and qualifications.
