Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor join our client based in Coventry, this role if offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days a week onsite.

The Employee Relations Advisor will act as the first point of contact for advice and guidance for stakeholders, who are managing employee relations cases. The ideal candidate will provide timely, informed advice at all stages on policy for which the case management team is accountable for.

The duties of the Employee Relations Advisor will include

Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence cases
Support and oversee employee relations investigations, ensuring cases are managed fairly, consistently and in line with policy
Review case documentation, prepare reports and support managers through formal hearings and processes
Analyse employee relations trends and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
Assist with the development and review of employee relations policies and procedures
Build effective relationships with managers, HR colleagues, trade unions and key stakeholders across the business
Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice
Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance employee relations processes and the overall employee experience

The Employee Relations Advisor will ideally have:

Experience within an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Case Management role
Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practice
Experience managing disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence cases
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

The Employee Relations Advisor will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
