Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder and Fabricator for a dynamic 6 to 7-week contract opportunity. This role offers an exciting chance to work on diverse piping and fabrication projects, utilizing your expertise in welding and metalwork. You will be instrumental in constructing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities

· Perform TIG welding and welding techniques to join metal components with accuracy and consistency

· Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and piping materials

· Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise fabrication and assembly

· Measure, mark, and layout materials using basic math skills for accurate cuts and welds

· Conduct quality inspections of welds and fabricated parts to meet safety standards and project requirements

· Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times

· Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within the designated timeframe

Skills

· Proficiency in TIG welding, with experience in welding preferred

· Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and piping systems

· Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment

· Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of assembly techniques

· Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately

· Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work

· Knowledge of safety standards related to welding, fabrication, and industrial work environments
