MPI have requirements for Aircraft Seat Mechanics to work on site at Luton Airport

Start: 21st September 2026 for winter program

Duration: till end of May/June 2027

Shifts: DAYS - Monday – Friday 07.00 - 16.30

Half hour unpaid lunch.

Rates: to be discused on application.

These roles are in scope of IR35

Duties
Stripping, fitting, and repairing aircraft seats including mechanisms, hinges, brackets, arms, seat backs and base, seat covers, as require, on the Boeing aircraft. Remove and refit from aircraft.

Experience required
Candidates must have previous experience in this role in an aircraft environment.
Successful applicants in this role would be required to undergo a reference check for the last 5 years of employment. If the applicant has resided in a country for 6 months or longer within the last 5 years, a Criminal Record Check would be required.
If selected, we will require you to have the following up to date certificates, or be prepared to get up to date certificates of the following at your own cost. If booked through MPI there is a discount of 10% of advertised retail cost.
