Site Manager (NGED) - Long-Term Contract | Outside IR35

We are currently recruiting for an experienced NGED Site Manager to support the delivery of electricity infrastructure projects across the UK. Substation Project 132kV. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established utility contractor on a long-term contract with a strong pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day site operations on NGED projects.
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
Supervising direct labour, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Leading site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
Ensuring compliance with NGED specifications, procedures, and industry regulations.
Monitoring project progress and reporting to the Project Manager.
Maintaining site documentation, permits, and records.
Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams throughout project delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Manager within the utilities or power sector.
LIVE NGED AUTHORISATION.
132kV EXPERIENCE
Strong working knowledge of NGED standards and procedures.
Proven track record of successfully delivering electricity infrastructure projects.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.

Essential Qualifications

SMSTS
First Aid at Work
CSCS Card
Relevant utility or electrical industry experience

Desirable

NRSWA Supervisor
IOSH or NEBOSH
SAP or electrical authorisations
