About this contract

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Working Supervisor to join their team, covering water treatment projects across the UK. The role would suit someone based in the Midlands who is happy to travel and stay away when required.
A company van, fuel and digs will be provided and covered when staying away from home.
Working Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Supervising site operatives and subcontractors
* Working alongside the site team and getting involved with the works
* Managing day-to-day site activities
* Allocating labour, plant and materials
* Toolbox talks
* Health and safety compliance
* Ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS
* Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager
* Ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme
* Maintaining quality standards and site records
* Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site
Working Supervisor Requirements:
* SSSTS
* CSCS
* Previous experience working on water treatment or water infrastructure sites
* Strong civil engineering background
* Previous experience supervising site teams
* Hands-on approach and happy to work alongside the workforce
* Willing to travel to different sites across the UK
* Happy to stay away when required
* Full UK driving licence
