Are you an experienced Highway Inspector looking for a new challenge?
An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Inspector to join a busy client in London.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £27 - £29 per hour, negotiable for the right candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Undertake routine safety inspections of the highway.
·Inspect work by contractors and statutory undertakers, checking for quality and quantity and materials as per specification.
·Programme and carry out minor surveys and census work as required.
·Utilise fully and competently whatever equipment is available for inspection, measurement or recording purposes.
·Be familiar with the full range of construction methods and materials appropriate to own area of work.
·Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on all legislative matters relating to area of work.
·Work out of hours as necessary for site inspection, recording and work supervision.
