Executive Liaison Support Supervisor

Location: Basildon, Essex

Rate: £23.04 per hour PAYE / £29.50 per hour Umbrella

Hours:  Full-Time, 36.25 hours per week

Working Pattern: Minimum 3 days per week onsite

This is an excellent opportunity working within the Legal and Democracy Support Team, you will supervise a team responsible for delivering high-quality administrative and clerical support to Executive Liaison Officers. You will act as a key point of expertise, helping to coordinate resources, manage workloads and ensure consistently high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

Allocate resources effectively in line with changing priorities and operational demands.
Manage diary requirements, busy periods and ad-hoc requests to ensure appropriate team coverage.
Work closely with other Supervisors and the Elections Specialist to coordinate support throughout the year.
Manage and resolve escalated concerns and high-level complaints.
Support the handling of FOIs, EIRs and SARs, ensuring matters are dealt with professionally and within appropriate timescales.
We are looking for an experienced administrative or business support professional who is confident working at a senior level and can manage competing priorities in a busy public-sector environment.

You will ideally have:

Significant experience providing high-quality administrative or executive support at a senior level.
Experience in a PA, Executive Assistant, Business Support, Senior Administrator, Team Leader or supervisory role .
Experience working within local government, a local authority or a similar public-sector organisation.
Strong knowledge or understanding of local government functions and governance.
Strong organisational, prioritisation and workload management skills.
Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with complex spreadsheets, business plans and financial information.
Additional Information
