Contract - Temp to Perm

Are you a kind and compassionate support worker, seeking a new role?? We are currently working with a large SEN provision in Stockport to recruit support workers to join their team from September, on a temp to perm basis.

The school is a specialist college, that supports pupils aged between 19-25, with complex needs.

As a Support Worker, you will:

Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, providing both sensory and emotional support
Maintain regular communication with parents, staff and external agencies (where necessary) to monitor progress and development
Prepare fun and engaging learning resourcesWhat we are looking for:

Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but trainigng can be provided)
Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs
Team Teach training is desired but trainng can be providedTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHER
