Tribunal & Complaints Officer – SEND

£400 per day (LTD) | 35 hours per week | Hybrid | 2 days per week on-site

We Do Social Work Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Tribunal & Complaints Officer to join a SEND service on an interim basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable SEND professional with a strong background in complaints management and tribunal processes to provide additional capacity and help address a current backlog.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the effective management and resolution of SEND complaints and tribunal matters, helping to reduce outstanding cases and improve the overall service.

You will be responsible for working through a backlog of complaints and tribunal cases, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently, professionally and in line with relevant processes and timescales.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

A proven track record of working within SEND complaints and tribunal processes.

Strong knowledge and understanding of the SEND statutory framework and associated processes.

Experience managing a caseload of complex complaints and/or tribunal matters.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

The confidence to work independently and hit the ground running in an interim environment.

A thorough, professional and solutions-focused approach.

Contract Details

Rate: £350 - £400 per day (LTD)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Working arrangement: Hybrid

On-site requirement: 2 days per week

Duration: Short-term interim assignment

Start: ASAP

This is a temporary capacity-building role designed to provide specialist support in clearing a backlog of SEND complaints and tribunal cases. It is not anticipated to become a long-term or permanent position.
