12-Week Temp to Permanent | Full-Time

Pay: £18p/h-£18.50p/h

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm

Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

Overtime

After 40 hours – Time and a Half (1.5x)

Saturday – Time and a Half (1.5x)

Sunday – Double Time (2x)

A well-established, family-run steel fabrication company is looking to recruit an experienced Fabrication Welder to join its skilled team on a 12-week temp-to-permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, bespoke fabrication work. No two projects are ever the same, with work spanning a wide range of industries and sectors. Successful completion of the initial 12-week period may lead to a permanent position.

Duties

Manufacture components from technical drawings.

Produce a varied range of bespoke fabrications, from light fabrications up to 25 tonnes.

Work primarily with mild steel, with occasional stainless steel fabrication.

Work independently or as part of a small, skilled team.

Interpret welding symbols and fabrication drawings.

Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.

Requirements

Time-served Fabrication Welder/Fabricator.

Able to read and work from engineering drawings.

Experience operating an overhead crane (licence not required).

Reliable, punctual, and able to work on your own initiative
