Overtime and shifts available

Experienced Well Abandonment or Senior P&A Well Engineer, ideally with North Sea exposure required to review historic well records and generate a Well Engineering Summary Pack including Well Status Diagrams and summary tables for a North Sea Platform, associated subsea tieback developments and legacy E&A wells.

You are likely to be a well engineer with over three years North Sea experience and good understanding of platform well, subsea well and subsurface terminology and significance.

Responsibilities

Interpret drilling reports and other well records with understanding of the potential implications of significant events.

Understand relevance of subsurface data design inputs, general abandonment design philosophy and UK industry guidelines.

Generate basic but clear Well Status Diagrams in Excel, with emphasis on demonstrating barrier quality.

Assess leak risk for each barrier based on historic data

Relate abandonment designs and quality to field wide wellbore penetration plumbing diagram and potential impacts on subsurface assumptions for crossflow
