Salary: £45,200 + Company Van (Business Use) + Overtime
Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Job Role of the Maintenance Supervisor
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading UK manufacturing business at their flagship site in Clifton, Nottingham. Following significant growth and the award of several major contracts, the business is looking to strengthen its engineering leadership team.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will lead the engineering team, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure maximum equipment reliability across a modern automated manufacturing facility. The site benefits from regular multi-million-pound investment, state-of-the-art machinery, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
Sector – Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor
Previous leadership or management experience.
Electrically biased engineering background.
Hands-on maintenance experience within manufacturing, industrial, or Armed Forces environments.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Requirements for the Maintenance Supervisor
Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance skills.
Experience with planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.
Ability to lead and support an engineering team while remaining hands-on.
Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Supervisor
Experience supervising maintenance engineers.
Knowledge of automated production machinery.
Recognised engineering qualification.
