Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay: £89 - £100 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Start Date: September 2026
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in primary education? Simply Education is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Sittingbourne that are seeking reliable and passionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils and class teachers from September.
Whether you have experience supporting whole-class learning, working one-to-one, or assisting pupils with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning and development.
Help create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
Provide additional support for pupils with SEND where required.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Be flexible and adaptable to work across different year groups and school settings.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working in a UK primary school is desirable.
Experience supporting children with SEND is beneficial.
A positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work in different primary schools across Sittingbourne.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
