About the Role

Supply Desk is looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming SEN setting in Fareham. Working alongside experienced teachers, you'll support pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping them gain confidence, achieve their learning goals and enjoy coming to school each day.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils individually and in small groups during lessons.
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
Encourage independence, confidence and engagement.
Assist with literacy, numeracy and intervention sessions.
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEND professionals.
Help create a calm, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Promote safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
Patient, caring and encouraging nature.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Positive and proactive attitude.
Commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs.
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
