About this contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Shuttering Foreman to join a long-term construction project in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Duration: 8+ months (with potential extension)
Job Type: Freelance / Contract
Start: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate a team of shuttering carpenters on site.
* Plan and oversee daily shuttering activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality throughout the project.
* Liaise with the Site Manager and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Conduct daily briefings and ensure all operatives adhere to site procedures and company standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Shuttering Foreman or Foreman supervising shuttering/formwork operations.
* Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
* Valid CSCS Card.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage site teams, coordinate workloads, and maintain productivity.
* Good understanding of construction health and safety regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project with an initial duration of 8+ months, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
